These Terms of Service govern your use of purposefulit.com and any services provided by Purposeful IT. By using this site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

Services

Purposeful IT provides SEO, web design, Google Business Profile management, content strategy, and AI search optimization services to local businesses. The specific scope, deliverables, and fees for each engagement are agreed upon in writing before work begins.

No Guarantee of Results

SEO and search visibility are influenced by many factors outside our control, including search engine algorithm changes, competitor activity, and the age and history of your domain. We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, or revenue outcomes. We commit to applying best practices and working transparently toward the goals we agree on together.

Payment

Payment terms are specified in each individual service agreement. We reserve the right to pause or discontinue work on accounts with outstanding balances past the agreed payment terms.

Intellectual Property

Content we create for you -- including copy, page designs, and strategy documents -- becomes your property upon full payment. Purposeful IT retains the right to reference completed work in our own marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.

Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information about your business, respond to requests for content or approvals in a reasonable timeframe, and not use our services for any unlawful purpose. Delays caused by late approvals or missing content are not our responsibility.

Limitation of Liability

Purposeful IT's liability in connection with any service is limited to the fees paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost revenue or business opportunity.

Termination

Either party may terminate a service engagement with written notice. You are responsible for fees for work completed through the termination date. We will deliver all completed work product upon receipt of outstanding payment.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lorain County, Ohio.
